This will be my first "dark" piece.


I live near the Botanical Gardens here in Melbourne. It's a beautiful place - a must if you ever visit on a sunny day. Massive trees, beautiful flowers, perfectly manicured gardens. Every day, around the gardens, hundreds of people jog, walk and trail their little doggies.

It's nauseating. They even jog at NIGHT!

All these people constantly trying to be *fit*. In their sweaty perfectly toned bodies, listening to their walkmans, discmans and mp3 players. The guys really piss me off the most - they are usually *so* sweaty they *have* to take their tops off ... *sigh*


This is my ode to the creatures of the night who inhabit the darkness of the gardens - namely the hungry faery which picks off the over zealous night joggers.

Time :: 2 hrs composition, 12 hrs with PS
(original size was 4800 x 3600)

ahhh so you're familiar with the atmosphere? I'm sure there's a couple of these faeries in Hyde Park somewhere ;)

no ... you heard me scream "STAY AWAY FROM THE TREES!!!!"

yes ... insane people jogging at 2 am ... you should all be shot or given sleeping pills :) GET A THREADMILL! geez at 2 am, you should be watching INFOMERCIALS and buying stuff ;)

YAY! :clap: someone called it!

damn it ... you must think like me ... *scary* (there can be, only one)

but I didn't it to be the "tradition" incubus .... more like something so pretty, it *can't* be bad ...

one of the +devWatches was running a poll on "what aminal would you like to be?" ... and some one said "butterfly" ... " no one would suspect" or soemthing along those lines ... (my memory is failing me at my old age). i thought it was cute.
